How We Started
As the founder and lead designer of KM Kitchen Design, Kate brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative vision to every project.
With a background in Engineering, including bachelor's and master's degrees, she spent nearly a decade honing her skills as an engineer in the shipping industry. However, it was a meaningful connection with her mother-in-law, a seasoned veteran in the kitchen design industry, that ignited her passion for transforming spaces.
Combining her engineering skills with a newfound love for kitchen design, Kate found the perfect career path where meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem-solving converge with creativity. At KM Kitchen Design, we take pride in crafting beautiful spaces that not only reflect your personal style but also enhance the functionality of your home.

Kate enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, skiing, and tennis - making the most of the great outdoors of Colorado. With her children now in college, she’s taking advantage of the empty-nest chapter by traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.

DESIGN ASSISTANT & SHOWROOM MANAGER
Angela is a busy mom of four who enjoys the chaos of family life. When she’s not cheering on her kids or wrangling the family’s two dogs, she loves spending time in the garden or tackling home improvement projects. She enjoys working with her hands and finding practical, creative ways to make her house a home.

Olivia is a student at Indiana University studying Marketing and International Business. She takes pleasure in being outdoors, reading, and hanging out with her sister and friends. She enjoys being able to express her creative side through her work at KM Kitchen Design.
